Bergvliet was originally developed in 1947 for servicemen returning from the war. Over the years new areas were opened up, each reflecting styles of the period. Today Bergvliet, with its sizeable gardens, is a popular family-orientated leafy suburb which offers an excellent and safe lifestyle for children.

Meadowridge was developed in the 1960's and with the many improvements that most homeowners have undertaken is now a highly desirable suburb.

Kreupelbosch was developed in the 1980's and is an upmarket and prized area.
